Presentation by Teresa Pinto Correia (MED – University of ร‰vora)

Teresa Pinto-Correia is a Geographer (Portugal), with a Masters in Environmental Management (Belgium) and a PhD in Landscape Ecology (Denmark). Full Professor at the University of ร‰vora. Director of MED – Mediterranean Institute for Agriculture, Environment and Development (www.med.uevora.pt). Coordinator of the Associated Laboratory CHANGE – Institute for Global Change and Sustainability. Vice-President of Horizon Europe’s Mission Board on Soil Health and Food. Member of the National Council for Science, Technology and Innovation. Teresa’s team, LABscape, is an internationally competitive team that applies a systems approach to rural geography, ecology and landscape management, agricultural systems and public goods support, and knowledge co-construction processes. Involved in 18 European projects and coordinator of one H2020. 130 international peer-reviewed publications, including authorship of a book published by Cambridge University Press, 2018, and one by Routlegde, 2021.
