CETRAD HUB

CETRAD operates as a tripartite entity without legal personality, with the Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (UTAD) serving as the chief management entity. UTAD has been the host institution for CETRAD since its establishment in 2002. The Intrepid Lab acts as a management partner of CETRAD, with its legal representative institution being COFAC (Cooperativa de Formação e Animação Cultural, CRL). CETRAD-Europeia is another CETRAD’s management partner, with its legal representative institution being EUROPEIA ID.

Intrepid Lab

Intrepid Lab is a Hub of Lusófona University at CETRAD, which hosts researchers from FCESE, ECEO, IPLuso, and ISMAT, and whose main facilities are located at Universidade Lusófona – Centro Universitário do Porto. Intrepid Lab is a transdisciplinary management research center, which aims to collaborate with the scientific and business community to develop research projects with scientific and societal relevance.
INTREPID Lab’s mission is to produce scientific, ethical, rigorous, and quality knowledge, which contributes to the advancement of economics, management sciences, and society.

INTREPID Lab’s vision is to be a reference research and knowledge transfer center, at a national and international level, with a positive impact on science and society.

CETRAD

Centre for Transdisciplinary Development Studies (CETRAD) is a social sciences R&D Unit mission-oriented towards fostering inclusive sustainability transitions at the territorial level, with a focus on regional, rural, and urban areas experiencing socio-demographic shrinkage. Hosted by the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD), CETRAD has expanded into a national network that includes CETRAD-Europeia (based at the University Europeia) and Intrepid Lab (based at Lusófona University).

Europeia ID

Europeia-ID is a non-profit association whose aim is to promote, enhance and publicise scientific and academic research, as well as to develop university and polytechnic teaching and training, with a focus on design, marketing, communication, management, psychology, sport, law, technology, tourism and other relevant related areas. Europeia-ID is the managing body of scientific research activity, ensuring, through its contracting of funding, its financial and administrative support, total commitment to all research endeavours promoted by European University and IPAM researchers. Europeia-ID was created by Ensilis – Educação e Formação, Unipessoal Lda (Ensilis). Research and innovation, employability and internationalisation are key vectors of Europa-ID, supported by different areas of knowledge: Business and Law, Psychology, Design, Tourism and Hospitality, Sports and Health, Marketing and Communication and Human Resources, offering access to state-of-the-art facilities.
Europa-ID is the main contracting institution for UNIDCOM, as well as for the CIDESD – European and CETRAD – European Research Centres.
