Professor of Mathematics at the Faculty of Engineering and the School of Economic Sciences and Organisations of the Lusófona University Centre, Lisbon. He completed his PhD in Mathematics at the University of Seville (2016) after specialising in Mathematical Logic, Computation and AI at the same university. Between 2007 and 2020 he held various positions and roles: Director of ISPO, President of ISPO’s Technical-Scientific Council, Deputy Director of the Research and Publications Centre at ESE Almeida Garrett, Consultant for the European Parliament, ghost writer in the area of science and research policies, equal opportunities and social and labour non-discrimination. He carries out research in the areas of Mathematical Logic and Maths Teaching at higher, secondary and basic levels.
