Degree in Civil Engineering, MSc in Urban Engineering and PhD in Engineering Sciences. Assistant Professor of Spatial Planning at University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro. His research interests include Urban and Regional Planning, Spatial analysis methods and GIS applied to Transport and Mobility. Since 2010 coordinates the UTAD Territorial Studies Group (GETER-UTAD), having been responsible for the technical-scientific coordination of several Municipal Master Plans (PDM), Strategic Environmental Assessments, especially in the Douro Region.
