Description:

The “T3 Space – Cross-border Technology Transfer” project is a project financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) under the Interreg V-A Spain-Portugal 2014-2020 (POCTEP) programme, designed to establish a cross-border space for stable higher education-business collaboration as a basis for creating quality employment and enhancing sustainable growth in the two regions involved (Northern Portugal and Castile and Leon), in the framework of their respective Regional Strategies for Smart Specialisation (RIS3), focusing on Research and Innovation of excellence, close to the market and aligned with the areas and sectors in which the participating regions are competitive. The project involves higher education entities as generators of knowledge for regional development, so that they act as a lever to boost economic growth through knowledge transfer between academia and the business sector.
