I conduct research into how controlled environment agriculture (CEA) modalities can strengthen food security and sovereignty, namely hydroponic systems in greenhouses and vertical farms in urban and semi-urban perimeters, as well as the influence of their socio-environmental and economic impacts on communities and society in general, from an ESG perspective and in line with the United Nations SDGs.
