Maria Isabel Andrés Marques holds a PhD in Tourism Sciences from the University of Perpignan, France, with the thesis: Identities, Heritage and Tourism Development: The case of Minho. Associate Professor and coordinator of the degree in Tourism and Management of Tourism Companies and of the Master in Management and Innovation in Tourism and Hospitality, at the Lusófona University – Lusófona University Centre – Porto. At the University she also works as the internationalization coordinator for FCESE – Faculty of Economic, Social and Business Sciences. His main studies and publications, including book chapters, papers in scientific journals and conference proceedings, are based on the themes of Sustainable Tourism; Tourism trends; Skills of tourism professionals; Intangible Heritage and Tourism; Destination Branding and Destination Imagery.
