Research Group:
Lélis holds a PhD in Management/Marketing from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil, 2005) and a Master’s degree in Management/Marketing from the same university (1999). He has professional experience as a business consultant in strategic planning, market research, and marketing. His research has been published in various journals, such as the International Journal of Bank Marketing, Journal of Services Marketing, Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice, Journal of Research in Interactive Marketing, and Sustainability, among others. His research interests focus on the impacts of new technologies on consumer behavior in service and retail environments. Currently, he is a professor at IADE/Universidade Europeia.

Main Projects:
a) Artificial Intelligence in Retail: partnership with researchers from IPAM Lisbon, University of Bologna (Italy) and master student from IPAM. This project is funded by Ensilis (Ipam Lisbon), and it lasts from 2023 to 2024.
b) New technologies and dysfunctional consumer behaviours: project in partnership with researchers from IPAM Lisbon and NOVA IMS, lasting until 2025
