Agricultural Engineer from the Federal University of Santa Catarina – UFSC, Brazil (2002). Experience in school management, teaching and research. Founder and coordinator of GEIT – Grupo de Estudos de Inovações e Transições (Group for the Study of Innovations and Transitions), which brings together researchers from various countries, specifically from the CPLP (Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries), and with different academic backgrounds. I am a member of the academics network Transiciones en América Latina y el Caribe (Transitions in Latin America and the Caribbean) and a scientific reviewer for SOBER – Sociedade Brasileira de Economia, Administração e Sociologia Rural (Brazilian Society of Economics, Administration and Rural Sociology). I am interested in the study of innovations and transitions, with a special interest in innovation systems and the socio-technical and sustainable transition processes they trigger.
