Carmem Teresa Pereira Leal holds a PhD in Management from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (2011). She is presently the head of the Department of Economics, Sociology, and Management at CETRAD, where she also heads the Innovation & Market Ecosystems (IMEKO) research group. She is an assistant professor at the UTAD, Portugal, Department of Economics, Sociology, and Management. Her primary research interests are in the field of Knowledge Management, but she is also interested in the Financial Management of organisations and, more recently, the study of Entrepreneurial Intention and Knowledge Transfer in Entrepreneurial Ecosystems. Her Management-related research has been presented at international conferences and published in scientific journals.
