Alexandra was born in Porto, and married with three children.
She holds a graduate degree in Law from the Portuguese Catholic University (Porto School of Law), a Master’s in Administrative Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto, and a PhD in Development, Societies and Territories from the University of Trรกs-os-Montes and Alto Douro, co-supervised by the Portuguese Catholic University – Porto School of Law.
She has been the Director of Services at the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto (Polytechnic Institute of Porto) since 2007 responsible for legal planning, quality and evaluation. She is also the President of the private non-profit GrowgreenFood Association since 2018. For several years, she was a trainer for the Administrative Procedure Code module as part of the “School Administration-Oriented Technical Development” project. She has been a member of several private and public tender boards. She has given a number of national and international seminars and published in various national and international journals.
