CETRAD is part of the organisation of The XVIII International Seminars on Overarching Issues of the European Area, that will take place in Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto (FLUP) . The seminars will address the theme “Building Resilient and Sustainable Territories” and are scheduled for 2024. The event will feature a scientific committee of renowned scholars from over a dozen countries, focusing on inclusive development strategies that prioritize conservation of landscapes, heritage revitalization, and social framework enhancement. Amidst the backdrop of global crises, the seminars aim to reflect on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the UN’s Agenda 2030, tackling challenges such as poverty eradication, energy access, education, health services, job creation, and energy efficiency. The conference will also highlight the importance of effective institutions and stable societies where justice, peace, health care, and gender equality are inclusive.

Abstracts submitted to the XVIII International Seminars of the Overarching Issues of the European Area must be unpublished, well-structured and appropriate to the topics suggested for discussion at the event. The abstracts submitted must be based on original data, of high technical quality and meet international ethical standards. Abstracts of a commercial nature will not be accepted.

Authors must choose the available presentation medium: Oral Paper Presentation; Poster Presentation; and Poster.
