The Centre for Transdisciplinary Studies for Development (CETRAD), marks the 24th of October, World Information Day on Development, with the screening of the documentary We, Portuguese: Born, not to die, a work produced by the Francisco Manuel dos Santos Foundation. After the screening, a moment of reflection will follow with commentaries by Artur Cristรณvรฃo and Teresa Sequeira, members of CETRAD, and an extended debate.

โ€œWe, the Portuguese: Born, not to dieโ€, is a documentary series, divided into three episodes, which presents itself as a reflection of what will be the future of our country, drawing a portrait of Portugal and the Portuguese ten years from now. Led by journalist Carlos Daniel, the work has images collected in all Portuguese regions and islands, and has the scientific support of Pordata and the Francisco Manuel dos Santos Foundation.

The event takes place on the UTAD Campus, Auditorium B0.01 of the Laboratory Complex, between 4.30pm and 6pm, and is open to the entire community.
