The management of CETRAD, together with the management of DESG, are promoting a cycle of advanced training in the Short Advanced Courses model. The fifth course will be entitled: Structural Equations Model estimation with the speaker professor Rui Silva (CETRAD / DESG / UTAD).

Biographical note:
Rui Silva has a PhD in Management from the University of Beira Interior (Covilhã – Portugal). He is an assistant professor of Accounting, Accounting Management and Finance at UTAD (Portugal). He conducts research on Accounting, Gamification in Accounting, University Partenerships, Strategic Management; Quality Systems; Written and Oral Communication Accounting Students at UTAD’s CETRAD (Center for Transdisciplinary Development Studies). He has carried out field research at the University (UTAD and Almeria) and Polytechnic Institute (Porto) on Accounting and Finance. He was awarded the best research project at the In Doctoral Consortium – University of Évora in 2018. In 2018, he was awarded the best conference paper at the XX Seminário Hispano Luso de Economia Empresarial. Huelva, Spain. In 2019 he was awarded the best paper at the III International Forum on Management – Value Creation and Local Heritage. In the same year, he was awarded the best paper at the XX Luso-Spanish Seminar on Scientific Management. Bragança, Portugal. He is a reviewer for several international Scopus and JCR journals.
